Garvin Sirois

On Sunday, November 19, 2017, our beloved dad, grandad, brother, uncle and friend, Garvin Rock Sirois, passed away peacefully at Agapé Hospice, Calgary, Alberta at the age of 63 years. Garvin’s stories of guitars, motorcycles, speed skating and his endless tinkering will live on in the hearts of daughters, Catherine (Brent) Sawatzky and Corrine (Kevin) Davis; son, Eric Sirois; sister, Rochelle (Jim) Cruther; brother, Neil Sirois; six grandchildren and former wife, Louella Ray. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Garvin’s honor may be made directly to Agapé Hospice, Calgary, Alberta at www.agapehospice.ca; or to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, Red Deer, Alberta at www.ashfm.ca.   1. So sorry to hear about Garvin….I was thinking about him today and decided to google….am in shock that he passed. His father Guy Sirois and my mother Donna Slyke-Sirois were 1st cousins. …we spent a lot of time together as children and young adults. Lost contact after his mother Margo passed. Our family moved to the States in the early 60’s. Rest in Peace Garvin and I have you and your family in my prayers

  2. Just a note that Barbara Pistawaka of Calgary,Alberta (his Dad’s 1st cousin) is in poor health…I will let the rest of the cousins in the Calgary area know
