Last Saturday evening, September 19, 2020 at 11 p.m. Norma Elliott, our Pearl of the Orient, with her family at her side slipped peacefully away from us after a long battle with multiple myeloma. Norma was born to Jose and Maria (Teves) Bacang on July 1, 1940 on a plantation called Tangculogan at Bais City, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

Marcella Louise Desrosiers, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away after a battle with cancer Monday, August 31, 2020 at the age of 73.
Marcella was born on March 31, 1947 to Augustine and Isabelle Desrosiers. She spent most of her life in Fort Frances and spent many happy years with the love of her life, Theodore (Ted) Perrault in Red Gut Bay, and Thunder Bay.
