Gertrude Elizabeth Anderson passed away peacefully in her 100th year at Riverside Health Care, Fort Frances, ON with her family by her side on July 20, 2020.

Mrs. Dora Kloosterman (nee van der Lely), formerly of Fort Frances, passed away peacefully at her home in Thunder Bay on Monday, July 13, 2020 at the age of 86 years.

Dora was born on December 23, 1933 in Groningen, the Netherlands. She married Romke Kloosterman on March 8, 1956 and the newlyweds immigrated to Canada the same year. Dora dedicated her life to making a beautiful family home for her

It is with heavy hearts the family of Wayne (“Wink”) Comigan announce his sudden passing on Sunday July 12, 2020 at his home in Fort Frances, ON. Wayne was born July 13, 1957.

Wayne is survived by his children Crystal, Chantel, Kayla and Matt.

Thomas Roen, 52, of Fort Frances, ON passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2020. He is survived by his parents Howard and Evelyn (Halvorsen) Roen; children Tom (TJ), Jessica, Julia; and grandson Greyson. He is also survived by his brothers Ken, Duane (Tracy) and Kevin (Tara); along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Tom was predeceased by his son Jason Roen.

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Georgina Ruth Kirkrude, age 59, on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Riverside Health Care Facilities, Fort Frances, Ontario.

Georgina was born in Rainy River, Ontario. She lived in Morson until she was 7 years old then moved to Rainy River where she lived most of her life. She worked at Grassy Narrows Camp. Black Island and Marvin Windows.
