It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of David Ross Chapman, 69, on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Downey Retirement Centre, L.A. Calif. where he died peacefully.

He was predeceased by his parents Ross and Lorraine Chapman. He was born August 15, 1951 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, On. He is survived by his brothers Brent (Mary Ellen), Brian and Ron and his sister

Mary McKelvie

Mary McKelvie was born May 3, 1928 in LaVallee, Ontario to Thomas and

Mary Yurchuk (Hemelyuk).

Following her education she moved to Fort Frances where she lived with her sister Dora’s family and went to secretarial school. She worked in the paper mill office where she met her husband Robert McKelvie (Bob). They were married on July 12, 1952 and had two daughters Brenda and Maureen.

John Esselink

John Esselink, 95 of Emo, Ontario passed away on August 31, 2020 peacefully with his family by his side.

Sadly the family announces the passing of Geraldine Archie, 78, of Big Grassy First Nation on Monday, August 31, 2020 in Thunder Bay, ON.

A traditional wake will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 3 p.m. at the Big Grassy First Nation Community Hall, followed by traditional service on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 10 a.m.

On Friday, August 21, 2020 Margaret Woollard of Emo, peacefully passed away at the age of 97. Margaret was born February 24, 1923 in Cook County, Illinois, USA.

The family emigrated to Emo, Ontario in the mid 1920’s. Margaret lived in various locations around Emo. She attended school at the Emo Public and Continuation Schools. She was a long-time member of the Emo United Church, Emo Legion

John Elra Galusha, age 66, from Fort Frances Ontario went to rest on Saturday, August 22 2020 at LaVerendrye Hospital. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.

John was born May 13, 1954 and lived in Rainy River District all his life. He worked at Sapawe as a millwright for many years before moving to Fort Frances in 2008.

Daryl Lynn Dolph

Daryl Lynn Dolph, age 63, of Southey, Saskatchewan passed away August 19, 2020 at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. Daryl was born July 3, 1957 in Fort Frances, Ontario to Vene and Margaret Dolph.

Daryl was predeceased by his parents and brothers Allan, Raymond, and brother-in-law David Stuckless.
